Burning Pirate 2007 Photo Gallery

Arrival on Saturday Evening around 6:30 pm on July 14th, 2007.  Almost center of the playa, our home sweet home for the next 16 hours.

When you have 200 square miles at your disposal, the thought of walking as far as you can in any direction can be tempting,  at one point that evening 5 different people decided to walk in different directions almost a mile away from our camp to watch the sunset in solitude.  (or maybe to take a leak)

Mmmm Ice cream.  Everything tastes better on the playa,  even melted Ben and Jerry’s

Yoga on the playa?  Sure why not!    No yoga mat required.

It wouldn’t be Burning Pirate without fire would it?    Enjoying the amazing sunset, while Blackbeard screams in agony.

The next morning brought some winds, but no dust,  and some amazing skies.
